Drought-resistant rice variety records threefold yields in Busoga pilot project

Rice farmers in Namutumba District are embracing a new drought-resistant hybrid variety after WDE75 recorded yields up to three times higher than local paddy varieties during a pilot project aimed at boosting climate-resilient agriculture.
